Privacy Policy

Ashwani Agrawal (“we”, “our”, or “us”) built the 6th Sense Security mobile application to provide live camera monitoring for our CCTV hardware. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app and website. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:

Account information — Your email address and/or phone number, used solely to create and authenticate your account.
Device information — Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers, used to ensure app compatibility and deliver notifications.
Camera stream data — Live video from your connected cameras is streamed in real time to your device. We do not record, store, or retain any camera footage on our servers or in the cloud. The stream exists only for the duration of your active viewing session and is never persisted.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your user account.
To authenticate you and authorise access to your registered cameras.
To route your live camera stream securely to your device.
To send important service notifications (e.g., connectivity alerts).
To diagnose technical issues and improve app performance.

3. Data storage & retention

Your account information (email / phone) is stored on our secure servers for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at info@6thsensesecurity.in.

No camera footage is stored anywhere. Our cloud infrastructure is used exclusively as a relay for real-time streaming — video frames are never written to disk, object storage, or any other persistent medium.

4. Third-party sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information or camera footage to any third party. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, analytics platforms that collect personal data, or any data brokers.

5. Security measures

We employ industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including TLS/HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, secure credential storage using platform keychain APIs, and access controls limiting who within our organisation can access account data. While no system is completely infallible, we continually review and update our security practices.

6. Children's privacy

The 6th Sense Security app is intended for use by adults and business operators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at info@6thsensesecurity.in and we will promptly delete that information.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, notify you via the app or by email. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
