What is ST/QC and why does it matter?

India's Surveillance & Technical Quality Council framework introduces certification requirements for CCTV equipment sold and deployed in the country — covering supply chain, firmware integrity and data handling. Non-compliant gear faces deployment restrictions across regulated sectors. 6th Sense is built ground-up to meet these standards from day one.

How does zero-touch configuration actually work?

When a 6S camera boots on the same network as the NVR, the two devices handshake automatically over a secured discovery protocol. The NVR registers the camera, assigns it a logical name based on location and model, sets the optimal codec and bitrate, and begins continuous recording. Total time: under thirty seconds per camera. Installers can override anything later — but the defaults are production-grade.

Do I need a cloud subscription?

No. All AI features — person and vehicle detection, motion zones, search, alerts — run on-device on the NVR. Cloud is optional, for remote viewing and off-site backup, never required for core functionality. Your footage stays under your control.

Is there a channel partner programme?

What's your warranty?

Will it work with my existing cameras?

The 6S NVR supports ONVIF Profile S/T, so most third-party IP cameras will be discovered and recordable. AI features (zero-touch naming, search-by-event, classification) are optimised for 6S cameras and may have reduced functionality on third-party hardware.
