What is ST/QC and why does it matter?
STQC is the Standardisation Testing and Quality Certification Directorate under MeitY. Its certification requirements for CCTV cover supply chain, firmware integrity and data handling. 6th Sense hardware is built to meet them from day one, so installs in regulated sectors stay deployable.
How does zero-touch configuration work?
When a 6th Sense camera boots on the same network as the NVR, the two handshake over a secured discovery protocol. The NVR registers the camera, names it, sets the optimal codec and bitrate and starts recording, in under thirty seconds per camera. Installers can override anything later.
Do I need a subscription?
Not to record. Recording and live view work out of the box, and footage stays on your NVR with no storage meter running. AI analytics (detection, search and alerts) switch on per camera with a 6th Sense AI plan, and you can upgrade any time from the NVR or the app, with no new hardware.
What are the AI plans?
Optional per-camera yearly plans that add Billing-match alerts (Smart), Fire & fall alerts (Pro) and Face recognition (Enterprise) on top of Basic human detection. Installers earn a share of every renewal.
Is there a channel partner programme?
Yes. We're onboarding system integrators, electrical contractors and security dealers across India, with co-marketing, lead sharing, training certification, tiered margins and recurring AI-plan revenue.
What's the warranty?
Five years on cameras and NVRs, with replacement units shipped within 48 hours from regional hubs.
Will it work with my existing cameras?
The NVR supports ONVIF Profile S/T, so most third-party IP cameras can be discovered and recorded. Zero-touch naming, search-by-event and classification are optimised for 6th Sense cameras.
